What is included in your Wall Bed price list?

Includes a posture slat bed base, cabinetry, and installation in Sydney Metro* however, we have separated the mattress price as you have the option of putting your own innerspring mattress on the bed.

What is a Smart Bed?
The Smart Bed brand is a Wall Bed unit combined with a choice of desk, sofa, or bookshelves. Smart Beds also offer a range of clever fold away desks and table units that can be purchased separately.
What kind of mattresses do you provide for your Wall Beds?

We offer two types of Sealy inner spring mattresses.
Smart Beds
Come with a custom-made pocket spring mattress.
What is a pocket spring mattress?
The pocket spring mattress is made from individually wrapped coils that work and compress independently. This allows the reduction of excess movement and supports the back which results in a more restful sleep.
What is the thickness of the mattresses?
Fold Down Wall Beds
The Fold Down Wall bed needs to have an inner spring mattress and no thicker than 250mm. If you would like your mattress thicker, we can customise the cabinet depth of the wall bed to suit.
Smart Beds
The pocket spring mattress thickness is 150mm due to the depth of the Wall Bed being 317mm deep.
What are the weight restrictions on your Wall Beds?
The weight restrictions are 100kg to 150 kg on our single and king single wall beds and 200kg on our double and queen wall beds.
Can I leave bedding on the Wall Bed when folded away?

Pillows are to be removed but you can leave a fitted sheet, sheet and thin blanket when folded away. If you wish to leave a quilt or thick blanket, we suggest making the depth of the wall bed deeper as your bedding can interfere with the pillow catch.

Pillows are to be removed but you can leave a fitted sheet and sheet on the Wall Bed when folded away.
If I move, can I take the Wall Bed with me?
Yes, we offer a service where we can dismantle and reassemble the Wall Bed and any surrounding joinery for you.
Can you add cupboards and shelving to your Wall Bed?
Yes, you can, we have our standard range of storage options that you can add to your wall bed in the same finish as your wall bed or alternatively we can custom design and build joinery around your wall bed to suit your needs.
Where are your Wall Beds made?
Our Fold down Wall Beds and Smart Bed metal bed frames are European made with the cabinetry made in our Wetherill Park facilities. This gives you the flexibility to customise the joinery around your wall bed.
Do you offer a service to come out and measure and quote?
Yes, we have a team of Designers who can come out and measure and assist you with the design process.
What is the warranty of your Wall Beds?
We have a 5-year warranty on all our Wall Beds and Mattresses.
Do all your Wall Beds need to be fastened to the wall?
Most of our range needs to be fastened to the wall but we have a few in the Smart Bed range that can be freestanding and does not require any fixings to the wall.
Can I buy the mechanism for the wall bed only and have my cabinet maker do the joinery?

Yes, you can have your Cabinet Maker buy the mechanism and do the joinery for you.
Smart Beds
Yes, you can have a Joiner install the Wall Bed for you, however, we provide the mechanism and cabinetry together.
Does the Wall Bed need to be serviced?
Fold Down Wall Beds
Over time you may need to have the Wall Bed re-tensioned, simply give us a call and we can arrange a call out.
Smart Beds
The Smart Beds should not need any servicing, however, if you need a service call, feel free to contact us.
What Kind of mechanism are the Wall Beds comprised of?
Fold Down Wall Beds
The Fold Down Wall Bed works on a spring-loaded counterbalance which can be adjusted to suit the mattress.
Smart Beds
The Smart Beds operate on a soft opening gas strut and due to the mattress being a standard inclusion, there is no need to adjust the tension.
Do you service other areas other than the Sydney Metro?
Yes, we can supply and install out of the Sydney Metro area however, additional travel cost may apply. We can also freight the Wall Beds interstate. The Wall Beds come with a full set of assembly instructions ready for your Cabinet Maker to assemble your bed.
Can you use your Wall Beds every day?
Yes, a Wall Bed can be used just like a normal bed. We sell mattresses suited for your Wall Bed and a good night’s sleep.
